Real Madrid and Barcelona Target Tottenham Star Pedro Porro

Real Madrid and Barcelona are reportedly keeping a close eye on Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro as both Spanish giants assess their options at right-back.

The Spain international has attracted attention amid speculation that he could consider returning to La Liga after establishing himself in the Premier League. However, any potential move would depend on several factors, including Tottenham’s willingness to negotiate and the financial conditions involved.

Real Madrid and Barcelona Enter the Race

Barcelona are understood to be interested in strengthening their right flank, with Porro viewed as a potential option thanks to his attacking ability, crossing and experience at the highest level.

Real Madrid are also reportedly monitoring the situation. The Spanish champions have previously been linked with the defender, and renewed interest could create competition between the two historic rivals.

Porro’s ability to contribute in attack while providing width on the right could make him an attractive addition for either club.

Tottenham Face a Difficult Decision

Tottenham have a strong negotiating position after securing Porro’s future with a contract extension that reportedly runs until 2031.

That long-term agreement means the London club are under no immediate pressure to sell. Any interested team may therefore need to present an offer capable of convincing Spurs to consider his departure.

Barcelona’s financial situation could also influence their ability to complete a deal, particularly if the club needs to move players on before bringing in new signings.

Could Pedro Porro Return to Spain?

A return to Spanish football would represent a new chapter for Porro, who has developed into an established right-back during his time in England.

Barcelona and Real Madrid would each offer a different sporting opportunity, but the defender’s future remains uncertain while the reported interest develops.

For now, there is no confirmed transfer agreement between Tottenham and either Spanish club. Supporters will have to wait for further developments to discover whether this transfer rumour turns into a concrete move.
