Bayern Munich Move to Secure Michael Olise as Real Madrid Watch His Future

Bayern Munich are taking steps to protect one of their most valuable attacking assets, with Michael Olise emerging as a priority in the club’s plans for the coming years. The German champions have reportedly started discussions over a new contract for the French international, a development that could make a potential move to Real Madrid even more difficult.

According to reports from Sky Sport Germany, initial talks have already taken place between Bayern and Olise as the club looks to secure his long-term commitment.

Bayern Munich Want to Keep Olise

Since arriving from Crystal Palace in 2024, Olise has established himself as a key figure in Bayern’s attack. His technical ability, creativity and quality in the final third have made him an important part of the team’s ambitions.

Bayern are reportedly keen to reward his performances with improved contract terms. His current agreement runs until 2029 and reportedly does not include a release clause, giving the club a strong negotiating position.

The proposed renewal could also significantly increase Olise’s salary, potentially placing him among Bayern’s highest-paid players. Such an agreement would underline the club’s determination to retain the winger rather than entertain offers from potential suitors.

Real Madrid Face a Difficult Situation

Real Madrid have been linked with Olise as they continue to assess options for strengthening their attacking line. However, Bayern’s efforts to extend his contract could make any future approach considerably more complicated.

For the Spanish giants, the situation may depend on whether their interest develops into concrete action and how the player views his long-term future. At present, there is no confirmed agreement for Olise to join Real Madrid.

The two clubs would also need to navigate the situation carefully, given the importance of maintaining a professional relationship between two of Europe’s leading sides.

Bayern Confident About Olise’s Future

Bayern supervisory board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has expressed confidence that Olise and striker Harry Kane intend to remain at the club for the long term. He has also indicated that he hopes contract renewal discussions with both players will progress positively.

That confidence reflects Bayern’s broader strategy of keeping their leading performers together as they pursue further domestic and European success.

What Happens Next?

The coming weeks could provide a clearer picture of Olise’s future as Bayern attempt to advance negotiations. A successful renewal would strengthen the club’s position and make a transfer increasingly difficult to arrange.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, will have to assess whether to pursue their reported interest or focus on alternative targets.

For now, the key development is Bayern’s reported attempt to secure Olise’s future. Until a new agreement is officially announced, however, the final outcome remains uncertain.
