Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal has confirmed that his relationship with Argentine rapper Nicki Nicole has come to an end, putting to rest recent rumors surrounding his private life.
Speaking to journalist Javi Hoyos, the 17-year-old made it clear that the breakup was amicable and unrelated to any alleged cheating.
“We are not together anymore. It was not for any infidelity,” Yamal explained.
“We have simply parted ways and that’s it. Everything that is being said has nothing to do with us. I’ve not been unfaithful or involved with anyone else.”
Nicki Nicole, who had been seen attending Barcelona matches in recent weeks — often sitting alongside injured players such as Raphinha and Dani Olmo — was a visible supporter of Yamal. She was even spotted chatting with Barça manager Hansi Flick during one of the team’s fixtures.
Rumors of trouble between the pair intensified after Yamal’s brief trip to Italy, with gossip outlets suggesting infidelity. However, the Spanish international has now publicly dismissed those claims, emphasizing that their split was mutual and respectful.
The young forward, already one of the brightest stars in world football, continues to focus on his performances for Barcelona and the Spanish national team, determined not to let personal matters affect his game.
