BRIGHTON EYE NEXT WONDERKID MOVE WITH BOLD ENDRICK PUSH

Real Madrid’s teenage prodigy Endrick could be the next big name heading to the Premier League — and Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly leading the chase.

The 18-year-old Brazilian, who has yet to feature for Xabi Alonso’s side this season, is expected to leave Madrid on loan in January after struggling for minutes. His last official appearance came back in May, and with Alonso relying more on Brahim Diaz, Rodrygo, and Gonzalo Garcia, Endrick’s opportunities have been limited.

Now, several Premier League clubs are circling. Brighton, alongside Manchester United and Aston Villa, have been mentioned as potential destinations for the young star.

BRIGHTON READY TO REPEAT ANSU FATI MASTERSTROKE

The Seagulls made waves last season by landing Ansu Fati on loan from Barcelona, in a move that stunned fans and pundits alike. Once hailed as Lionel Messi’s heir, Fati’s arrival at the AMEX Stadium showcased Brighton’s growing reputation for developing elite young talent.

According to TEAMtalk, Brighton are “in the mix” for Endrick — but unlike their previous deals, they’re reportedly eyeing a permanent transfer this time.

MADRID SET HIGH TERMS FOR ENDRICK EXIT

Madrid, who signed Endrick from Palmeiras for around €60 million (£52.6m) when he was just 16, are open to letting him leave temporarily — but only under specific conditions. They expect the receiving club to cover his full salary and pay an additional loan fee. Moreover, Madrid want assurances that Endrick will get regular playing time, crucial for his development ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

BRIGHTON’S YOUTH PROJECT CONTINUES

Brighton’s pursuit of Endrick fits perfectly into their long-term youth strategy. The club recently invested heavily in young prospects such as Charalampos Kostoulas and Stefanos Tzimas, spending nearly £30 million to bring them in from Olympiacos and FC Nuremberg respectively.

WELBECK FUTURE UNCERTAIN

Meanwhile, veteran striker Danny Welbeck could depart at the end of the season when his contract expires. The former Manchester United forward has netted five Premier League goals this term — trailing only Igor Thiago, Antoine Semenyo, and Erling Haaland.

With Welbeck possibly on his way out, Brighton’s move for Endrick could mark the start of a new attacking era on the south coast.
